I have an AP3000 avionics stack with the ELITE GNS 430 control module. Why is my #1 NAV/COM inoperative?
When you are using an aircraft module with the GNS 430 WAAS simulation, the ELITE 430 WAAS control module becomes COM1/NAV1. Therefore, the #1 COM/NAV module on the AP3000 becomes inoperative, as this role is now being fulfilled by the GNS 430 WAAS.
