How to Turn On or Off “USB Selective Suspend” for Idle USB Devices?

 

  1. Open the Windows Control panel, and click on Power Options.

 

2. Open the change plan settings for your selected power plan.

3. Open the advanced power settings for your selected power plan.

4. Expand USB settings and USB selective suspend setting, set the drop down menu setting to Disabled and click on OK.
