Learn how to configure weather conditions using the Environment controls in the ELITE Instructor Operating Station (IOS).

In this first weather walkthrough, instructors can adjust key atmospheric settings such as barometric pressure, temperature, visibility, cloud coverage and altitude, and additional weather layers. The visual altitude profile makes it easy to understand how the selected conditions are distributed throughout the training environment before applying them to the simulation.

Custom weather settings allow instructors to create controlled VFR and IFR scenarios, practice transitions between changing conditions, and give every student a consistent, repeatable training exercise.
